Students will work with their hands as we explore geometry concepts in art and nature. We will use
photography, mandalas, and food to find geometry in nature. Inside the classroom, students will create
beautiful works that demonstrate some of the concepts that are presented in our lessons. We will also use
food as we explore how geometry is a part of our daily life. Students will then take the lessons outside as we
expand to larger works and see how nature offers many fascinating examples of geometry when we look with
intention. Students will have ample practice with concepts of lines, angles and circles, as we work to support
the lessons presented in the classroom.

French Language Immersion Camp
Les étudiants apprendront et échangerons des techniques d’échec pour pouvoir montrer à leurs parents leur progres
une fois à la maison ! Ce sera aussi une belle opportunité pour les enfants d'apprendre l'histoire des échecs. Les cours
seront donnés par Mâitre Fred, qui a battu sa fille (4 mois) à maintes reprises.
Campers will learn, play and exchange chess techniques so they can go back home and show how much they
progressed! It will also be a great opportunity to learn more about the history of chess, behind the game. The
lessons will be given by Grand Master Fred, who has been almost always winning against his daughter (4
months old).

deviled-eggs, we will make fun, tasty, and beautiful recipes so you can show off your cooking skills at your next
birthday party or holiday event and feed your guests healthy dishes!

Spanish Language Immersion Camp
En este campamento podrás diseñar tu propia piñata. Aprenderás a preparar la base de la piñata y conocerás los tipos
de papel que se usan para decorarlas. Aprenderás también como cortar, doblar y pegar el papel para conseguir la
textura
deseada según tu diseño. Este campamento es totalmente en español. Ven a aprenderlo o a
practicarlo.
Ever dreamt of making your own piñata? Campers will learn to prepare the base of the piñata and learn about
the different types of papers piñata makers use to decorate them. You will learn how to cut, fold and paste
the paper to get the right texture according to your design. This camp is taught entirely in Spanish.

Instructor: Scott Long
This camp is going to be fun and awesome! We will learn basic team building skills as well as strategy and play
a game every day. You never thought you could have so much fun in such a small amount of space!
Please dress appropriately for vigorous exercise. Athletic shoes, shorts, T-shirts and shin guards are required. No
jeans or clothing that restricts movement. Also, no flip-flops or sandals, please! Remember to bring a water bottle.
