Camp Philosophy
The Renaissance International School is a truly international center of learning and culture, where each
individual can develop his or her potential. Our school provides an environment that is open, supportive and
multidisciplinary, so each and every child can thrive. We assemble a variety of camps in which children will
have a chance to explore the world and their place in it through age-appropriate activities.
The summer program consists of two components; the regular Montessori classroom activities in the morning,
followed by the Summer Camps in the afternoon.
This schedule is consistent with our philosophy that education is an ongoing process in which the child is
continuously learning and gaining knowledge from an enriching environment. This manner of uninterrupted
exposure enables the child to pursue his interests and maximize his own potential and development.
Staff
Our teachers work with children enrolled at our school year round, following Dr. Maria Montessori’s
philosophy of love and respect. Their primary goals for the children are fostering independence within the
child, developing initiative, encouraging the development of a creative mind, developing inner discipline and
most importantly, fostering a love of learning.
Health & Safety
The safety of our campers is of our utmost concern. There is always a First Aid and CPR certified teacher on
campus. We follow strict safety procedures and are ready to get emergency help if needed.
