Ruth Castañeda is from Mexico City. She is a credentialed Elementary Teacher with a B. A. in Special Education in hearing and speech. She has a Master’s degree in Educational Research. She worked as Speech Therapist and as a Special Education teacher for deaf children and young adults. She is an interpreter in Mexican Sign Language. She came to us with 23 years of experience as a Special Education and Elementary teacher in Mexico. She is a certified Elementary Montessori guide ages 6 to 12. Ruth started working at TRIS in January of 2004.

Mohamed Belaiche “Mo” joined TRIS in 2016. He was born and raised in the North of France. In 2009 he moved to Louisiana, in the Cajun country. He worked in three different education places prior to California including France, UK and Louisiana. He has been teaching for over 15 years and he really enjoys teaching other languages. He loves the fun of teaching another language in an environment that embraces multiple language immersion. He appreciates the challenges of a place where students are speaking and learning three different languages. Also he has a bachelor in Science of Education at University of Charles de Gaulle in 2004. He graduated in Maîtrise "Didactique & Ingénierie du français langue étrangère et seconde" at Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale in Boulogne sur mer, France. During his free time he enjoys playing and coaching tennis. He looks forward to guiding his students in this academic year at TRIS.
